The students will be interviewing a family member to find out about part of their family history. The students wrote down their interview questions on Friday and were instructed to have their interview completed by this Wednesday. If this is not possible, please write me a quick note in their assignment notebook.
Seat belts
Buckle up for safety! We discussed the importance of seat belts on Friday after the FUND run. We discussed how seat belts used to just be a lap belt and became safer after the 3-point seat belt design was invented. Many students have started to use the information from the article we read to think about how they will keep their egg safe.
NILE
The students had a great day of learning! The students were able to learn about the 5 major crops in Montana, the importance of honeybees, the products we get from livestock, how rivers are formed, and much more. I was very impressed with how well behaved the students were and how much they took in from each speaker.
Journey of Fallen Rock
We were able to start reading Journey of Fallen Rock today. The students will keep their books here at school and take them home when we are finished reading the book as a class. The assignment notebook code is for the students to give you a quick summary regarding what the journey will be for Fallen Rock. The students should mention how the 2 brothers, Fallen Rock and Running Water, will go on a journey trying to find 6 items throughout our country. The first brother back to the village will become the next chief. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to another great day of learning!
