My classroom thrives on technology and our technology needs some repair. I am Mrs. Gray, a fourth grade teacher at Arrowhead Elementary School in Billings, MT.
I was fortunate to receive a classroom set of Chromebooks 4 years ago. Since receiving them, I have used them every school day and they have helped enhance the learning of many students. I use the Chromebooks in the classroom to build math fluency, allow students to demonstrate their reading comprehension, gain a deeper understanding of social studies, and improve their ability to publish their work.
Imagine trying to create a published Google Drawing while navigating the only corner of your trackpad that works. You are unable to click, which makes you frustrated and the elements within the Google Drawing are not as user-friendly. It costs $79.93 to replace a trackpad/keyboard. We have 10 Chromebooks in the classroom set that desperately need to have their trackpad/keyboard replaced. The students and I know the benefit of the Chromebooks and appreciate your donation so that all Chromebooks are fully functional.

Pompey's Pillar Field Trip
I was unable to print out the midterms as my Gradebook for Powerschool crashed. I will have the students bring them home on Monday. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Pompey's Pillar
We had an amazing day today out at Pompey's Pillar. The students learned about the weaponry all of the members of the expedition used, animals that were on the plains around the pillar, the life of the people who lived around the pillar, and information regarding the expedition while they were camped out around the pillar. The students were excellent and had a lot of fun learning about our history. The assignment notebook code for tonight is for the students to identify one piece of information they learned. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to another great day of learning!
