"You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them." ~Michael Jordan
This quote represents how students took on their unit 6 inquiry projects. The pride in each student as they presented their research was inspiring to watch. I am so very impressed with how far each student has come this year. I have learned a lot about animals and the ecosystems they live in.
The students started their end of the year writing prompt today. The students are writing about 3 parts of our lives they would tell someone in the early 20th century. The students are doing a great job of showcasing all they have learned in writing throughout this past year!
The students started learning about the 3 regions of Montana today. We used an outline of Montana to identify the three regions and some mountain ranges in each area. The students will learn more about these regions tomorrow. We also finished reading about the southwest region today. The students will finish up their ThingLinks next week. The ThingLinks are showcasing what we have read in the text and what the students have researched on their own.
The assignment notebook code for tonight is for the students to identify one fact they learned from another person's research. I am so very proud of all the hard work each student is putting into their learning. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to another day of learning!
