We all remembered to wear our smiles this morning! It helped, however, to see Mrs. Gray back in the classroom! She surprised the kiddos so she could make sure to be a part of the class photo. Next Thursday she will be back in the swing of things teaching full-time. It's hard to believe how fast the time has gone! She is one lucky teacher to be returning to such a wonderful and caring group of students. I will miss seeing them every day.
Inquiry projects for Unit 4 are complete, and we will present tomorrow. We started the quarterly benchmark assessment (not exactly at quarter time, but right on for material covered!) and will plan to complete it tomorrow. We also wrapped up our lesson on speed and energy in science and will be moving forward with energy transfer in collisions. Be on the lookout tonight for a study guide as well as a set of notes from Chapter 6 for our upcoming social studies test that will be given Monday, February 23.
