Reminders:
Wow, What a quick, yet productive day of learning! We started off the day discussing how we can be proactive by not making excuses. The students read the book NO Excuses! by Dr. Wyne W. Dyer. This book takes you through the journey of how a little boy had to disregard the excuses everyone else was making for him in regards to his choice to be a marine biologist. As we read the book, we discussed the importance of be tenacious, and creating solutions for problems instead of making excuses.
We read in our Lead21 unit today about how we can be protectors of our environment. The students discussed how they can encourage others to reduce their waste and reuse resources when possible. I have been very impressed with the conversations and thinking that has taken place as we learn more about how we can protect our Earth.
Our word of the day today was fertile. The students discussed how our waste can decrease the possibility of soil being rich with nutrients. Students need to identify a synonym for the assignment notebook code for tonight. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to another great day of learning!
- The Arrowhead Book Fair will run until Friday.
- The Veteran's Day Program will be next Monday, November 10th. The performance for parents will start at 8:30.
- Our MT mountains and rivers test is tomorrow. The students will be expected to know all of the highlighted rivers and mountains on their map.
- Thank you again to all of the parents who have come to their conferences. Your support for your child shows!
