SBAC Testing
This week will be our last week of testing with the SBAC reading and mathematics test for fourth-graders. Please make sure students have a full nights rest each night as well as have a well balanced breakfast as we will be testing each morning for 2 hours.
Heritage Museum
Thank you to all parents who sent back the survey for preferred times in regards to the actual Heritage Museum. I will send home the times I have set for each student this upcoming Tuesday. Please do let me know if the date you identified for me no longer works so we can make sure we are prepared for parents the day each student is scheduled to present.
By the end of the week, I will expect for students to have all of their research on their country of origin completed. We will be using the interview answers in class the week of May 14th. Students will need to have the artifacts they will bring for the Heritage Museum by the May 21st as we will be creating the description cards the final week of the Heritage Museum.
Bike to School
Friday is our school's Bike to School Event. I encourage the students to ride their bike to school so they can partake in riding along with fourth and fifth grade students on the afternoon of May 11th. Please do make sure all students wear their helmets in order to make sure we practice appropriate bike safety choices.
This week we have no weekly code. I encourage students to take a break when they get home and be outside as much as possible as this week we will be spending more time on the screen than normal. Thank you in advance for all of the support you give each child so each child can do their best!
