Students will review determining main idea this week during our reading instruction. Additionally, students will focus on the question: How are living things connected? We ill read about the importance of animals compared to their surroundings. Students started their Reading Logs this week. Each night, students should read 20 minutes and record what they read in their reading log. While at school, students will practice journaling after reading their chosen independent reader.
Students are doing an amazing job with multiplying. We will have a chapter 3 test on Friday. It will be important for students to review their understandings before our test on Friday. We will spend our day on Wednesday reviewing multiplying a 2-digit number by a 2-digit number.
This week students are wrapping up their exploration with energy and collisions as we test cars colliding into each other. Students will also review the engineer design process in order to begin planning our vehicle restraint system.
Students are to identify the importance of bison and how they almost became extinct.
Additionally, students should show how to solve 23 x 45 using their method of choice.
This week is going to be another wonderful week of learning!
