Students will read about energy sources used in the past and how the sources we use for energy are changing. The kiddos continue to do well with math as we are finishing the chapter on multiplying fractions. We will take a test on Wednesday. Students can use the slides below to help study for the test. We will begin converting fractions to decimals on Thursday.

Activity 5 Food Bank Problem
This week students will have one day to work on their Food Bank design with the last day to work and present being Thursday, May 11th. We will finish off the year by looking at how the brain works and starting an introduction to coding.
Weekly Code
The first part of this week's code is for the students to identify what they learned about as they read during small groups. The students read historical fiction accounts about immigrants who came from either Italy or Ireland. The second part of the code is for the students to solve the following math problem: 4 x 2 3/4 = ___. I hope you all have a wonderful week.
