Reminders:
Students have shown that they have a clear understanding of the Central Region of the United States. We are reviewing the what we have learned this week and applying all of the reading strategies we have used thus far in order to gain a deeper understanding of the unit. We will begin the unit on ecosystems next week. I enjoy all of what the students learn in this unit and look forward to seeing the creativity to comes from the inquiry projects.
Students finalized their restraint models today in preparation for our evaluation tomorrow. Students will have an opportunity to test their model and revise their model in order to successfully protect the egg from becoming all cracked up.
We continue focusing on geometry as we learned about line segments, rays, and angles today. The students are demonstrating that they have a spacial understanding of these geometric terms. The code for tonight is for the students to tell you what a ray is. They should mention that it has one endpoint and continues in the other directions indefinitely. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to another great day of learning.
- Arrowhead Science Fair Projects are due march 26th. This is next Thursday. All students in our classroom will have a grade in the grade book for their project. Parents are welcome to view the science fair anytime during the regular school day.
- ABT Junie B. Jones performance is tomorrow afternoon.
