As the end of the year draws near, I am so very thankful for all of the hard work that continues to persist in our classroom. Today the students continued learning about the Wide-Open West during our Lead21 time. The students will create a travel itinerary detailing the events that could take place if they went on a trip of the west with another adult and $5,000. I look forward to seeing what the students will create for their travel plans.
We finished discussing the forms of energy that help us create electricity to power light sources. We will continue learning about different forms of energy and how they meet a human need/want.
The students used their volume conversion skills today in order to convert different units of measurement used in a recipe. The students will review multiplication and division for the remainder of the week as this is one of the major concepts students wanted to review in class. The assignment notebook code for tonight is for the students to identify how many quarts are in a gallon. I hope you all have a great night and I look forward to another great day of learning!
