What a wonderful end to our week. Most students have completed their end of the year essays with the remainder of the students finishing on Monday. I am impressed with the writing each student has produced and how far they have come this year.
The students started reading about the Western region of the United States during our reading today. We will learn about the remainder of the states in our country and how geography, economy, culture, and history are tied to the region.
We have been researching forms of energy during our PLTW time. The students have learned how we convert different forms of energy into useable, electrical power. I am impressed with the quality of research each student has put into their project.
Our word of the day today was inspired by the spirit of all students in our class. Many students are vivacious and ecstatic to be in class. The assignment notebook code for today is for the students to identify a synonym for the word vivacious. I hope you all have a great weekend and I look forward to another great week of learning!
I am a fourth grade teacher going on my seventh year of teaching. I have truly loved every year that I have taught and I look forward to sharing classroom activities we take part in during this upcoming school year!
