Reminders:
Today was a great day to enjoy learning and our classmates. The students started off the day by performing their Veteran's Day Program for St. John's and Mission Ridge residents. All of the residents were very honored to have taken part in this wonderful program.
The students continued to learn about how the United States was populated. We discussed the contributions of the Latinos and why Christopher Columbus wanted tried to get to Asia by sailing west. We also started looking at how the Europeans came to the United States. Many students saw that their ancestors came from European countries.
Living Green continues to be at the forefront of our thoughts as we continue to work on our inquiry projects and practice our sentence fluency in our writing. We decided that our inquiry projects will be presented on December 2nd, which is the Tuesday after our Thanksgiving break. We will spend more time next week working on our inquiry projects and finalizing the group presentations. The assignment notebook code is for the students to identify what they will be presenting for their group presentation. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to another great day of learning on Monday!
- Please send your child to school with a change of shoes. The boots are starting to form a slight smell and some kiddos do not have a change of shoes.
- Please make sure you are not parking in the Arrowhead parking lot when picking up your kiddo in order to make sure each student remains safe.
